Probablement le palmier le plus recherch\u00e9 dans les climats froids. Majestueux, avec des troncs \u00e9pais et une couronne compacte. Tr\u00e8s difficile \u00e0 cultiver les premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. C'est pourquoi il est commercialis\u00e9 \u00e0 partir de la cinqui\u00e8me ann\u00e9e.<\/p>

Une fois \u00e9tabli, il n\u00e9cessite peu de soins. Sols bien drain\u00e9s, l\u00e9g\u00e8rement acides et exposition ensoleill\u00e9e. Il est recommand\u00e9 de l'isoler dans le jardin, de le ventiler et de le placer dans un endroit visible. Sa pr\u00e9sence donne une qualit\u00e9 paysag\u00e8re \u00e0 notre espace et il est presque obligatoire de l'avoir dans une collection de palmiers.<\/p>

L'hybridation avec Butia odorata ou yatay (Jubutia azulada) est tr\u00e8s populaire. Nous avons nos propres semences, production et vente \u00e0 partir de 2026.<\/p>

Dans certains forums, la Jubutia de Butia yatay a \u00e9t\u00e9 consid\u00e9r\u00e9e comme une variante de la Jubaea azulada. Certains fournisseurs de semences au Chili l'ont mis en vente, affirmant qu'il s'agissait d'une collection dans des colonies secr\u00e8tes de la r\u00e9gion de Valparaiso au Chili. Nous sommes presque certains qu'il s'agit d'hybrides de Jubaea chilensis avec Butia yatay.
