YUCCA ROSTRATA

Yucca from Mexico and Arizona, highly resistant to cold (-18ºC). Its great hardiness, together with its attractive bluish tone and the low aggressiveness of its barbs, make it an excellent plant for our exotic garden. Landscape-wise it fits in both tropical and arid gardens.

It lives very well in pots, but it should not be fertilised with organic fertilisers in this location, mineral fertilisers are always better. Water only in very well-drained, sandy or rocky soils. Its bluish colour will contrast well with magentas and purples. Large brown and graphite grey pebbles are good choices for the soil.

It is one of the fashionable plants in exotic gardens in Europe. Medium-fast growing. Absolutely sunny exposure, desert plant.
