This yucca is still little known, but of great interest for its beauty and hardiness. It can withstand temperatures as low as -20ºC and has broad, somewhat bluish, compact leaves. Of medium growth and larger than Yucca rostrata, it is a good choice for arid style gardens.
Native to the Sierra Madre in Mexico, hence its name. It grows at altitudes of up to 2000 m and withstands adverse climates, both drought and severe frosts. We have our own mother plants, which are more compact and bluer than other production lines.
We are pioneers in the pollination and production of our own seeds of this and other yuccas in Europe.
